Iblees had not drunk alcohol, so why was he drunk? He was intoxicated with pride, arrogance, and denial.
If the heart is enlightened, bundles of blessings come to him from every angle; And if the heart is dark, clouds of trouble and evil come towards it from everywhere!

شیطان نے شراب نہیں پی ہوئی تھی پھر وہ کیوں مست تھا۔ وہ غرور تکبر اور انکار سے مست تھا. “قلب روشن ہو تو، ہر زاوئیے سے نعمتوں کے جھنڈ اُس کی طرف لپکے چلے آتے ہیں؛ اور اگر دل تاریک ہو تو، ہر جگہ سے مصیبت اور شَر کے بادل اُس کی طرف اُمڈتے چلے آتے ہیں!”
