In fact, I have carefully observed that there is a lump in one place which causes an obstacle to rotate on top of the spinning wheel due to which the rope does not fully open and the stone does not fall down completely. After opening the rope, the stone fell down with full force and crushed the wise head of the philosopher.

تھا. سب سے پہلے عالم کو اس تختہ پر عین پتھر گرنے کے مقام پر لٹایا گیا اور اس کی آخری خواہش پوچھی گئی تو عالم کہنے لگا میرا خدا پر پختہ یقین ہے وہی موت دے گا اور زندگی بخشے گا، بس اس کے سوا کچھ نہیں کہنا. اس کے بعد رسے کو جیسے ہی کھولا تو پتھر پوری قوت سے نیچے آیا اور عالم کے سر کے اوپر آکر رک گیا، یہ دیکھ کر سب حیران رہ گئے اور عالم کے پختہ یقین کی وجہ سے اس کی جان بچ گئی اور رسہ واپس کھینچ لیا گیا.
اس کے بعد وکیل کی باری تھی اس کو بھی تختہ دار پر لٹا کر جب آخری خواہش پوچھی گئی تو وہ کہنے لگا میں حق اور سچ کا وکیل ہوں اور جیت ہمیشہ انصاف کی ہوتی ہے. یہاں بھی انصاف ہوگا. اس کے بعد رسے کو دوبارہ کھولا گیا پھر پتھر پوری قوت سے نیچے آیا اور اس بار بھی وکیل کے سر پر پہنچ کر رک گیا، پھانسی دینے والے اس انصاف سے حیران رہ گئے اور وکیل کی جان بھی بچ گئی.
اس کے بعد فلسفی کی باری تھی اسے جب تختے پر لٹا کر آخری خواہش کا پوچھا گیا تو وہ کہنے لگا عالم کو تو نہ ہی خدا نے بچایا ہے اور نہ ہی وکیل کو اس کے انصاف نے، دراصل میں نے غور سے دیکھا ہے کہ رسے پر ایک جگہ گانٹھ ہے جو چرخی کے اوپر گھومنے میں رکاوٹ کی وجہ بنتی ہے جس سے رسہ پورا کھلتا نہیں اور پتھر پورا نیچے نہیں گرتا، فلسفی کی بات سن کر سب نے رسے کو بغور دیکھا تو وہاں واقعی گانٹھ تھی انہوں نے جب وہ گانٹھ کھول کر رسہ آزاد کیا تو پتھر پوری قوت سے نیچے گرا اور فلسفی کا ذہین سر کچل کر رکھ دیا.

بعض اوقات بہت کچھ جانتے ہوئے بھی منہ بند رکھنا حکمت میں شمار ہوتا ہے..
