Thomas Edison was a famous scientist. He lost his power of speech due to fever in his childhood.

when he was little one day he came from school and gave an envelope to his mother that the teacher had given him saying, “Give it to your mother.”

Mother opened and read. And tears came to his eyes. Then he read aloud. “Your son is a genius. This school is too small for him, and there are not enough good teachers to teach him, so you should teach him yourself. ” After that, his mother took the responsibility of teaching him.

Years later when Thomas Edison became famous as a scientist. And when his mother died. One day, he was looking for something in the old papers and found the same letter.

He opened the letter but there was writing on it.

“Your son is extremely stupid and mentally retarded… we can no longer keep him in school.”

After reading that Edison wrote in his diary.

Thomas Alva Edison was a mentally retarded child
But a great mother made him the greatest scientist of the century. “

تھامس ایڈیسن مشہور عالم سائنسدان تھا.

اپنے بچپن میں بخار کے باعث وہ قوت گویائی سے محروم ہو گیا تھا.
جب وہ چھوٹا تھا تو ایک دن وہ سکول سے آیا اور ایک سر بمہر لفافہ اپنی والدہ کو دیا کہ استاد نے دیا ہے کہ ” اپنی ماں کو دے دو .”

ماں نے کھول کر پڑھا.
اور اس کی آنکھوں میں آنسو آ گئے.

پھر اس نے با آواز بلند پڑھا.

” تمھارا بیٹا ایک جینئس ہے، یہ سکول اس کے لئے بہت چھوٹا ہے، اور یہاں اتنے اچھے استاد نہیں کہ اسے پڑھا سکیں سو آپ اسے خود ہی پڑھائیں. “
اس کے بعد اس کو پڑھانے کی ذمہ داری اس کی والدہ نے لے لی.

سالوں بعد جب تھامس ایڈیسن ایک سائنسدان کے طور مشہور عالم ہو گیا تھا.

اور اس کی والدہ وفات پا چکی تو وہ اپنے خاندان کے

پرانے کاغذات میں کچھ ڈھونڈ رہا تھا کہ اسے وہی خط ملا.

اُس نے خط کو کھولا تو پر اس پر لکھا تھا.

” آپ کا بیٹا انتہائی غبی ( کند ذہن ) اور ذہنی طور پہ ناکارہ ہے… ہم اسے اب مزید اسکول میں نہیں رکھ سکتے.“

اسی دن ایڈیسن نے اپنی ڈائری میں لکھا.

” تھامس ایلوا ایڈیسن ایک ذہنی ناکارہ بچہ تھا
پر ایک عظیم ماں نے اسے صدی کا سب سے بڑا سائنسدان بنا دیا. “
