یہ بادشاہ کا عزیز ترین حجام تھا‘ یہ روزانہ بادشاہ کے پاس حاضر ہوتاتھا اور دو تین گھنٹے اس کے ساتھ رہتاتھا‘ اس دوران بادشاہ سلطنت کے امور بھی سرانجام دیتا رہتا اور حجامت اور شیو بھی کرواتا رہتا تھا۔
He was a barber and very dearest of the king. He used to attend the king every day and stay with him for two or three hours. During this time, the king used to perform the affairs of the kingdom and also used to get haircuts and shaves.
One day, the barber asked the king, “I am closer to you than the minister. I am also loyal to you. Why don’t you make me the minister instead?” The king smiled and said to him, “Let me make you the minister.” I am ready for it, but you have to take the test before that.” The barber tied his chest and said, “You order.” The king said, “A ship has arrived at the port. Give me information about it.” The barber ran to the port. And came back and said, “Yes, the ship is standing there.” The king asked, “When did this ship come?” The barber ran to the sea again. He came back and said, “It came two days ago.” The king said, “Tell me where this ship came from.” The barber ran towards the sea for the third time. When he came back, the king asked, “What is loaded on the ship?” The barber ran towards the sea for the fourth time. Long story short, the barber got tired of walking around the sea and the palace till evening.
After that, the king called the minister and asked him, “Is there a ship on the sea?” The minister folded his hands and said, “Sir, two days ago, a merchant ship has come to our port from Italy. It is carrying animals, food and clothes. Its captain named is this. It arrived here in six months. It will stay here for four more days. There are two hundred and nine people on board and I suggest that we should increase the tax on the ships” the king looked at the barber and asked him “do you know the difference between a barber and a minister”
Barber quietly picked up the razor and got to work.
The purpose of submission is that a person should not interfere in the matter or the work he is not aware of.
ایک دن نائی نے بادشاہ سے عرض کیا ”حضور میں وزیر کے مقابلے میں آپ سے زیادہ قریب ہوں‘ میں آپ کا وفادار بھی ہوں‘ آپ اس کی جگہ مجھے وزیر کیوں نہیں بنا دیتے“ بادشاہ مسکرایا اور اس سے کہا ”میں تمہیں وزیر بنانے کیلئے تیار ہوں لیکن تمہیں اس سے پہلے ٹیسٹ دینا ہوگا“ نائی نے سینے پرباندھ کر کہا ”آپ حکم کیجئے“ بادشاہ بولا ”بندرگاہ پر ایک بحری جہاز آیا ہے‘مجھے اس کے بارے میں معلومات لا کر دو“ نائی بھاگ کر بندرگاہ پر گیا اور واپس آ کر بولا ”جی جہاز وہاں کھڑا ہے“ بادشاہ نے پوچھا ”یہ جہاز کب آیا“ نائی دوبارہ سمندر کی طرف بھاگا‘ واپس آیا اور بتایا ”دو دن پہلے آیا“ بادشاہ نے کہا ”یہ بتاﺅ یہ جہاز کہاں سے آیا“ نائی تیسری بار سمندر کی طرف بھاگا‘ واپس آیا تو بادشاہ نے پوچھا ”جہاز پر کیا لدا ہے“ نائی چوتھی بار سمندر کی طرف بھاگ کھڑا ہوا۔ قصہ مختصر نائی شام تک سمندر اور محل کے چکر لگا لگا کر تھک گیا‘ اس کے بعد بادشاہ نے وزیر کو بلوایا اور اس سے پوچھا ”کیا سمندر پر کوئی جہاز کھڑا ہے“وزیر نے ہاتھ باندھ کر عرض کیا ”جناب دو دن پہلے ایک تجارتی جہاز اٹلی سے ہماری بندرگارہ پر آیاتھا‘ اس میں جانور‘ خوراک اور کپڑا لدا ہے‘ اس کے کپتان کا نام یہ ہے‘ یہ چھ ماہ میں یہاں پہنچا‘ یہ چار دن مزید یہاں ٹھہرے گا‘ یہاں سے ایران جائے گا اور وہاں ایک ماہ رکے گا اور اس میں دو سو نو لوگ سوار ہیں اور میرا مشورہ ہے ہمیں بحری جہازوں پر ٹیکس بڑھا دینا چاہئے“ بادشاہ نے یہ سن کر حجام کی طرف دیکھا اور اس سے پوچھا ”کیا تمہیں حجام اور وزیر کا فرق معلوم ہوا“ حجام نے چپ چاپ استرااٹھایا اور کام میں لگ گیا۔
عرض کرنے کا مقصد یہ کہ انسان کو جس بات کا یا جس کام کا علم نہ ہو تو اس میں مداخلت نہیں کرنی چاہیے۔
کیونکہ جس کا کام اسی کو ساجھے۔۔۔
