Old dilapidated buildings have a strange attraction that captivates the inquisitive.
Whenever one looks at such a dilapidated building, even the walking steps stop for a few moments. Some lives must have been living inside this broken, staggered, and crumbling wall, but today, there is desolation, an anxious deep silence. The only remaining traces of this building will ever be there.
Where its residents live now, and in what condition will they be? Every crumbling building seems to represent a complete cycle of life and reminds us that everything in this world is perishable, only its essence is eternal.
Therefore, man should avoid arrogance and understand what life is. One should understand that man has come to this world for a very short time, and he has to go back with his record of deeds.

پُرانی شکستہ عمارتوں میں ایک عجب کشش ہوتی ہے جو جستجو رکھنے والوں کو اپنے سحر میں مبتلا کر لیتی ہیں جب بھی کسی ایسی مخدوش عمارت پہ نظر ٹھہرے تو بڑھتے ہوئے قدم بھی کچھ لمحوں کے لیے رُک سے جاتے ہیں-
کبھی یہاں بھی رونق رہی ہو گی اس شکستہ لڑکھڑاتی اور ڈھے جانے والی چاردیواری کے اندر کچھ زندگیاں جیتی رہی ہونگی مگر آج یہاں ویرانی کا راج ہے ایک اضطراب بھری گہری خاموشی ہے اسکے باقی رہ جانے والے آثار ہی کبھی اس عمارت کے ہونے کی نشاندہی کر رہے ہوں گے۔ اس کے مکین اب کہاں بستے ہوں گے کس حال میں ہوں گے؟۔
ہرشکستہ عمارت ایک مکمل دور زندگی کی ترجمانی کرتی ہوئی نظر آتی ہے اور ہمیں اس بات کی یاددہانی کرواتی ہے کہ اس دنیا میں ہر شے کو زوال ہے بس اس کی ذات جو ہمیشہ کیلئے ہے۔اس لیے انسان کو تکبر سے بچنا چاہئے اور زندگی کی حقیقت کو سمجھنا چاہیئے کہ انسان بہت تھوڑے سے وقت کیلئے اس دنیا میں آیا ہے اور اس نے اپنا اعمال نامہ لے کر واپس جانا ہے۔
