ایک دفعہ کا ذکر ہے کہ ایک جنگل میں واقع ایک بڑی جھیل میں مینڈکوں کا ایک قبیلہ رہتا تھا،وہ بہت مزے سے زندگی کے دن گزار رہے تھے۔اس جھیل پہ روزانہ جنگل کے تمام جانور پانی پینے آتے تھے، ان میں دو طاقتور جنگلی بھینسے بھی شامل تھے جو ہمیشہ ایک ساتھ آیا کرتے تھے اور ان کی دوستی پورے جنگل میں مشہور تھی۔
ایک دن مینڈکوں نے دیکھا کہ صرف ایک بھینسا پانی پینے آیا ہے۔بزرگ مینڈک نے اس بھینسے پوچھا:”میاں تمہارا ساتھی آج تمہارے ساتھ پانی پینے کیوں نہیں آیا؟“
بھینسے نے بڑی نفرت اور حقارت سے جواب دیا:”ہم دونوں کے درمیان لڑائی ہو گئی ہے۔
اس لئے میں اکیلا یہاں آیا ہوں۔“
جب بھینسا پانی پی کر چلا گیا تو بزرگ مینڈک نے بچوں سے کہا:”بچوں!جتنی جلدی ممکن ہو،اس جھیل کے کنارے کو چھوڑ کر کہیں اور جا کر بسیرا کر لو۔“
بچوں نے وجہ پوچھی تو بزرگ مینڈک نے کہا:”جہاں نا اتفاقی اور دشمنی جنم لے لے وہاں رہنا خطرے سے خالی نہیں۔
ایک نوجوان مینڈک اکڑ کر کہنے لگا:”تم جانا چاہتے ہو تو خوشی سے جاؤ،میں تو یہی رہوں گا۔
بھلا بھینسوں کی دشمنی کا ہم سے کیا تعلق۔“
بزرگ مینڈک اپنے سارے خاندان کو لے کر جھیل کے دوسرے کنارے پر چلا گیا اور ناسمجھ مینڈک اکیلا وہیں رہ گیا۔
ایک دن ایسا ہوا کہ دونوں بھینسے ایک ساتھ پانی پینے آ نکلے۔پہلے انہوں نے ایک دوسرے کو نفرت سے دیکھا اور پھر دونوں میں لڑائی شروع ہو گئی۔دونوں لڑتے لڑتے لہو لہان ہو گئے۔نوجوان مینڈک مزے سے لڑائی دیکھ رہا تھا کہ بھینسے لڑتے لڑتے اس پر آن چڑھے۔مینڈک ان کے پاؤں کے نیچے آ کر کُچلا گیا۔
نتیجہ: لڑائی اور دشمنی صرف لڑنے والوں کے لئے نہیں،بلکہ وہاں رہنے والوں کے لئے بھی خطرناک ہوتی ہے۔ کیونکہ جب آگ لگتی ہے تو وہ اردگرد تمام چیزوں کو لپیٹ میں لے لیتی ہے۔
Once upon a time, there was a tribe of frogs living in a large lake situated in a forest. They were enjoying their days peacefully. Every day, all the animals of the forest came to the lake to drink water, including two powerful wild buffaloes who always came together, and their friendship was famous throughout the forest.
One day, the frogs noticed that only one buffalo had come to drink water. The old frog asked the buffalo, “My dear, why hasn’t your companion come to drink water with you today?”
The buffalo replied with great disdain and contempt, “We had a fight. That’s why I came alone.” After the buffalo drank water and left.
The old frog said to the younger frogs, “Children! As soon as possible, leave the shore of this lake and settle elsewhere.”
When the children asked the reason, the elder frog explained, “Wherever there is discord and enmity, staying there is not without danger.”
A young frog proudly said, “If you want to leave, go ahead, but I will stay here. What does the buffaloes’ enmity have to do with us?”
The old frog took his entire family to the other shore of the lake, and the naive frog stayed there alone. One day, it happened that both buffaloes came to drink water together. First, they looked at each other with hatred and then started fighting. Both of them became bloodied while fighting. The young frog was enjoying watching the fight when the buffaloes, while fighting, trampled upon him. The frog was crushed under their feet.
Moral: Fighting and enmity are not only dangerous for the fighters but also for those living nearby. When a fire breaks out, it engulfs everything around it.
