بنی اسرائیل کا ایک قصاب اپنے پڑوسی کی کنیز پر عاشق ہوگیا۔ اتفاق سے ایک دن کنیز کو اس کے مالک نے دوسرے گاؤں کسی کام سے بھیجا۔ قصاب کو موقع مل گیا اور وہ بھی اس کنیز کے پیچھے ہولیا۔ جب وہ جنگل سے گزری تو اچانک قصاب نے سامنے آکر اسے پکڑ لیا اور اسے گناہ پر آمادہ کرنے لگا۔ جب اس کنیز نے دیکھا کہ اس قصاب کی نیت خراب ہے تو اس نے کہا:
”اے نوجوان تُو اس گناہ میں نہ پڑ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ جتنا تُو مجھ سے محبت کرتا ہے اس سے کہیں زیادہ میں تیری محبت میں گرفتار ہوں لیکن مجھے اپنے مالک حقیقی عزوجل کا خوف اس گناہ کے اِرتکاب سے روک رہا ہے’ اس نیک سیرت اور خوفِ خدا عزوجل رکھنے والی کنیز کی زبان سے نکلے ہوئے یہ الفاظ تاثیر کا تیر بن کر اس قصاب کے دل میں پیوست ہوگئے اور اس نے کہا:
” جب تُو اللّٰہ عزوجل سے اِس قدر ڈر رہی ہے تو مَیں اپنے پاک پروردگار عزوجل سے کیوں نہ ڈروں ؟ مَیں بھی تو اسی مالک عزوجل کا بندہ ہوں ، جا….تو بے خوف ہو کر چلی جا۔”
اتنا کہنے کے بعد اس قصاب نے اپنے گناہوں سے سچی توبہ کی اور واپس پلٹ گیا ۔
راستے میں اسے شدید پیاس محسوس ہوئی لیکن اس ویران جنگل میں کہیں پانی کا دور دور تک کوئی نام ونشان نہ تھا۔ قریب تھا کہ گرمی اور پیاس کی شدت سے اس کا دم نکل جائے۔ اتنے میں اسے اس زمانے کے نبی کا ایک قاصد ملا۔ جب اس نے قصاب کی یہ حالت دیکھی تو پوچھا:
”تجھے کیا پریشانی ہے؟
قصاب نے کہا:” مجھے سخت پیاس لگی ہے
یہ سن کر قاصدنے کہا: ہم دونوں مل کر دعا کرتے ہیں کہ اللّٰہ عزوجل ہم پر اپنی رحمت کے بادل بھیجے اور ہمیں سیراب کرے یہاں تک کہ ہم اپنی بستی میں داخل ہوجائیں۔
‘قصاب نے جب یہ سنا تو کہنے لگا:
”میرے پاس تو کوئی ایسا نیک عمل نہیں جس کا وسیلہ دے کر دعا کروں، آپ نیک شخص ہیں آپ ہی دعا فرمائیں ۔
اس قاصد نے کہا:
’ٹھیک ھے مَیں دعا کرتا ہوں، تم آمین کہنا
پھر قاصد نے دعا کرنا شروع کی اور وہ قصاب آمین کہتا رہا،تھوڑی ہی دیر میں بادل کے ایک ٹکڑے نے ان دونوں کو ڈھانپ لیا اور وہ بادل کا ٹکڑا ان پر سایہ فگن ہوکر ان کے ساتھ ساتھ چلتا رہا
جب وہ دونوں بستی میں پہنچے تو قصاب اپنے گھر کی جانب روانہ ہوا اور وہ قاصد اپنی منزل کی طرف جانے لگا۔
بادل بھی قصاب کے ساتھ ساتھ رہا جب اس قاصد نے یہ ماجرا دیکھا توقصاب کو بلایا اور کہنے لگا:
تم نے تو کہا تھا کہ میرے پاس کوئی نیکی نہیں اور تم نے دعا کرنے سے اِنکار کردیا تھا۔ پھر میں نے دعا کی اورتم آمین کہتے رہے ،لیکن اب حال یہ ہے کہ بادل تمہارے ساتھ ہو لیا ہے اور تمہارے سر پر سایہ فگن ہے، سچ سچ بتاؤ تم نے ایسی کون سی عظیم نیکی کی ہے جس کی وجہ سے تم پر یہ خاص کرم ہوا؟
یہ سن کر قصاب نے اپنا سارا واقعہ سنایا۔اس پر اس قاصد نے کہا:
‘اللّٰہ عزوجل کی بارگاہ میں گناہوں سے توبہ کرنے والوں کا جو مقام و مرتبہ ہے وہ دوسرے لوگوں کا نہیں
بے شک گناہ سرزد ہونا انسان ہونے کی دلیل ہے مگر ان پر توبہ کر لینا مومن ہونے کی نشانی ہے-

A butcher of Bani Israel fell in love with his neighbor’s maidservant. Coincidentally, one day the maid was sent by her owner to another village for some work. The butcher got a chance and he also followed this maid. When she passed through the forest, suddenly the butcher came in front and caught her and started persuading her to sin.When this maid saw that the butcher’s intention was bad, she said:
“O young man, do not fall into this sin. The fact is that I am in love with you more than you love me, but the fear of your Lord, the True Almighty, is preventing me from committing this sin.”These words that came out of the tongue of the maidservant who had good character and fear of God Almighty became an arrow of influence and became embedded in the heart of this butcher and he said:
“When you are so afraid of Allah Almighty, why should I not fear my Holy Lord Almighty? I am also a servant of the same Lord AlmightySo go without fear.”
After saying this, this butcher truly repented of his sins and turned back.
On the way, he felt very thirsty, but in this deserted forest, there was no mention of water anywhere. It was almost that he died due to heat and thirst. Meanwhile, he found a messenger of the prophet of that time. When he saw this condition of the butcher, he asked:
“What’s wrong with you?
The butcher said: “I am very thirsty
Hearing this, the messenger said: We both pray together that Allah Almighty sends clouds of His mercy on us and irrigates us until we enter our settlement.
When Kasab heard this, he said:
“I don’t have any good deed that I can pray for, you are a good person, please pray for me
This messenger said:
’ok i pray you say Amen
Then the messenger started praying and that butcher kept saying Amen, in a short while a piece of cloud covered them both and that piece of cloud overshadowed them and walked along with them
When they both reached the settlement, the butcher left for his house and the messenger started going towards his destination.
Badal also stayed with the butcher. When this messenger saw this incident, he called the butcher and said:
You said that I have no good and you refused to pray. Then I prayed and you kept saying Amen, but now the situation is that the cloud has happened to you and there is a shadow over your head, tell me the truth, what great good deed have you done that has made you so special. Thank you?
Hearing this, the butcher narrated his entire incident.On this the messenger said:
The position and status of those who repent of their sins in the presence of Allah Almighty is not that of other people
Indeed, committing sins is a proof of being human, but repenting of them is a sign of being a believer
