Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) asked Allah: “O Allah! You create people and then kill them. What is the wisdom in this?” Allah the Almighty said: “Since your question is not based on denial and negligence, I am passing over it, otherwise I would have punished you. You are asking so that you can inform the people about Our wisdom, otherwise you know Our wisdom in creating the creatures. Your question is not contrary to knowledge. Asking about something is half of knowledge. Although you are aware of it, you want the people to be aware of it. Only after knowing about something can a question be answered about it. Knowledge is the cause of misguidance and guidance. Just as moisture and dampness produce bitterness in fruits in addition to sweetness. Meetings and acquaintances produce friendship and enmity, and food produces both illness and health. O Moses, you want to make the ignorant aware of wisdom, that is why you are pretending to be ignorant of it. We also answer you by becoming ignorant of this knowledge.”
In response, Allah Almighty ordered Hazrat Moses (peace be upon him) to: “Sow the field.” When the field was ready, He ordered him to reap it. And then He asked Hazrat Moses (peace be upon him): “Why did you sow the field yourself and then reap it?”
Hazrat Moses (peace be upon him) said: “When the field was ripe, there was grain and chaff in it and it was not appropriate to mix the two. The requirement of wisdom was that the two should be separated.”
The Almighty asked: “Where did you get this intelligence?”
Hazrat Moses (peace be upon him) said: “This intelligence and intelligence are given to you.”
Allah Almighty said: “Then why should I not have this knowledge? Look, the souls of humans are of two types, one pure and one impure. All human bodies are not of the same status. Some bodies have souls like pearls and some have souls like shells. It is appropriate to separate those souls from each other in the same way as wheat from chaff so that the good souls go to heaven and the bad ones to hell. The first wisdom was to kill, and the wisdom of creation is to manifest our qualities.”
The Hadith Qudsi says: “I was a hidden treasure. I wanted to be recognized, so I created creation.”
Creations are manifestations of God’s qualities. The pearl in a human body should not be wasted, but rather protected.
