یاد ہے رُستم و سہراب ہوا کرتے تھےعشق اور جنگ کے آداب ہوا کرتے تھے یاد ہے لوگ قَناعت کی قبا اوڑھے ہوئے زرد موسم میں بھی شاداب ہوا کرتے تھے یاد ہے خستہ مکانوں میں فرشتوں جیسے لوگ وہ گوہرِ نایاب ہوا کرتے تھے یاد ہے طرزِ تخاطب میں بزرگوں کے لئے قبلہ و کعبہ کے اَلقاب ہوا کرتے تھے کاش دنیا میں مَحَبت کے سِوا کچھ بھی نہ ہو یاد ہے آنکھ میں کیا خواب ہوا کرتے تھے وہ تو ساحِل کی طرح آپ مِلے تھے ورنہمیری قسمت میں تو گرداب ہوا کرتے تھے سو گئے اوڑھ کے مِٹی کے لِبادے وہ بھیجو کبھی حُسن کے مَہتاب ہوا کرتے تھے فاتِحہ پڑھ کے مبارک میں بہت رویا آجآہ کیا پھول سے احباب ہوا کرتے تھے شاعر مبارک صدیقی۔
