بحری قذاقوں (pirates) کی ایک آنکھ پر کپڑا کیوں ہوتا تھا؟ بحری قذاق اپنی ایک آنکھ کو کپڑے کے ٹکڑے کے ساتھ ڈھانپ کر رکھتے تھے (eye patch) اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ جب آپ ایک آنکھ کو زیادہ دیر تک اندھیرے میں رکھتے ہیں تو وہ اندھیرے میں دیکھنے کیلئے ایڈجسٹ ہو چکی ہوتی ہے اس لئے جب قزاق جہاز کے نچلے اندھیرے حصے میں جاتے تو پٹی اتار کر روشنی والی آنکھ پر لگا دیتے اس سے وہ ایڈجسٹ شدہ آنکھ سے اندھیرے میں آسانی سے دیکھ سکتے تھے اور جب جہاز کے اوپر والے روشن حصے میں آتے تو پٹی دوبارہ نچلے حصے کیلئے سلیکٹ کی گئی آنکھ پر شفٹ کر دیتے اور دوسری آنکھ جو روشنی میں دیکھنے کی عادی تھی اسے اوپر والے حصے کیلئے استعمال کرتےتھے ۔

ایک چوہدری صاحب سے اس گاؤں کے میراثی خاندان نے آ کر شکوہ کیا کے انکے لڑکے عمدہ کھانا پکانے کی صلاحیت رکھتے ہیں مگر چوہدری صاحب آپ ہر شادی پر باہر سے باورچی منگواتے ہیں ، چوہدری صاحب انکی باتوں میں آ گئے اور کھانے کا آڈر انکو دے دیا مگر انہوں نے میراثی خاندان سے سوال کیا کے اگر کھانا درست معیار کا نہ بنا تو ؟ میراثیوں کے سب سے سینیر میراثی نے کہاچوہدری صاحب تسی مینوں فٹے منہ آکھنا جے کھانا چنگا نہ پکے تے غرض جب شادی ہوئ تو کھانا انہیں سے پکوایا گیا چاول سالن سبھی کچھ فضول اور بد مزہ پکا دیا گیا چوہدری صاحب کی حالت غیرہو گئمیراثی خاندان کو بلایا گیا اور پوچھا کے میری جو ناک کٹوائی ہے نقصان کروایا ہے اب اسکی کیا سزا ہے ؟ سینیر میراثی بولا چوہدری صاحب معاہدہ پورا کریں فٹے منہ آکھو تے سانوں😄
